Seven Days
The project was created at the ZhenFund 2023 AI Game Hackathon by a five-person team in 10 hours. It was developed with Unity, leveraging ChatGPT for dialogue and character behavior and Midjourney for visual content. All game assets were generated by AI, serving as an exploration of how AI-generated media and AI-driven conversation can power interactive storytelling and investigative gameplay.
This is a narrative-driven deduction game built around AI-powered interrogation. You play as a police officer and have seven in-game days to question an AI-controlled suspect. Through careful phrasing, follow-up questions, and pressure, you’ll extract clues from the suspect’s deliberately constructed story, spot inconsistencies, and gradually piece together the truth behind the case.
The suspect is designed to hide their crime for a personal reason, following an internal “interrogation survival guide” to stay calm, keep their story consistent, disclose as little as possible, and use ambiguity or silence when necessary. However, the suspect can shift between different mental and emotional states—and under intense swings, they may slip, contradict themselves, or even reveal the truth. Certain trigger keywords can expose hidden weaknesses, creating turning points in the conversation. Every session becomes a psychological game: ask the right questions, at the right time, and the truth starts to crack.
